Back in Chapter 36, we talked about what the Damning Clue does for your Sleuth: it acts as a sort of corner piece for the puzzle she’s assembling regarding the Villain’s actions. As soon as she has it, she’s able to assemble all the other clues she’s picked up into one cohesive picture of his guilt.
However, it’s actually possible to kick off this assembly of the information without finding a Damning Clue. In this chapter, we’ll talk about three ways to do this. Then we’ll finish up by discussing one way that the Villain himself can bring the case to a conclusion.
